Assistant General Manager – Summer Season 2026
Reikan | Bodrum, Turkey
Reikan, a high-end contemporary Japanese restaurant in Bodrum, is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant General Manager to support the leadership team for the 2026 summer season.
Reikan is built on precision, flow, and understated luxury. We are looking for a strong operator with a sharp eye for detail, a natural presence on the floor, and the ability to lead a team in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional service standards, and drive team performance. You will be both a leader and a hands-on presence—setting the tone, maintaining consistency, and elevating the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the GM in overseeing all front-of-house operations
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional, detail-driven service
- Maintain and elevate service standards in line with a luxury dining experience
- Manage daily briefings, staff scheduling, and floor coordination
- Handle guest relations, feedback, and service recovery with professionalism
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor performance, costs, and operational efficiency
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior management role within high-end or fine dining venues
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, floor-focused approach
- Excellent understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Fluent English required (additional languages are a plus)
