About Us Originally born in Istanbul as a pioneer of third-wave coffee, Kronotrop is opening in Shoreditch. Tucked into a beautiful heritage building in Shoreditch, our café is designed as a calm, beautiful urban living room where precision, hospitality, and design converge.

We approach coffee with the seriousness of a roastery. Overseen by our certified Q-Graders, our coffee program focuses on strict bean traceability, direct farm relationships, and flawless execution. We pair our world-class espresso and filter programs with our unique "Anglo-Anatolian" bakes—bringing Turkish-inspired pastries (like our signature espresso-twist walnut baklava) to the London food scene.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate Barista who takes coffee seriously, but doesn't take themselves too seriously, to join our tight-knit Shoreditch team.

What You’ll Do Craft Exceptional Coffee: Dial-in and pull consistent, structured espresso shots and execute alternative manual brew methods (such as Hario V60 and our signature overnight Kyoto cold brew) to our exact standards.

Share the Story: Act as a knowledgeable guide for our guests. You will be sharing the unique stories of our "Rare Series" coffees, origin stories, and flavor profiles with both enthusiasts and curious newcomers.

Maintain the Flow: Keep a clean, highly organized, and efficient bar environment during both the calm afternoon stretches and the fast-paced morning rushes.

Host the Space: Provide genuinely warm, welcoming service that makes our calm, architect-designed café feel like home to our regulars.

Who You Are Experienced: You have at least 1–2 years of experience working in a fast-paced, specialty (third-wave) coffee environment.

Technical but Humble: You understand brew ratios, extraction theory, and milk-texturing, but you explain it in an accessible, friendly way. (A keen interest in filter coffee, manual brews, or roasting is a massive plus!).

Hospitality-Driven: You love people as much as you love coffee. You thrive on building a community and making a guest’s day.

Reliable & Proactive: You are punctual, have a strong work ethic, and naturally look for ways to help the team, even when the bar is quiet.

Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
